Preliminary investigation incorporates the most sophisticated surface geophysical methods to provide a rapid and accurate map of the underlying stratigraphy, as well as depth of water and extent and magnitude of groundwater contamination. Our multi-electrode electrical resistivity (MER) technology uses arrays of 20 or more electrode points that instantaneously measure changes in resistivity across a transect. Perpendicular transects can be performed to provide a three dimensional representation of subsurface hydrogeologic conditions and contamination plumes. Data can be quickly analyzed in the field and confirmation soil and groundwater samples can be collected during the same field event using WaterBoyz direct push or conventional drilling technologies. A site-specific limited monitoring well network can be designed and installed for assessment documentation monitoring during remediation.

Once contamination is delineated, WaterBoyz can provide all the necessary equipment and tools to construct the groundwater extraction systems (horizontal and vertical drilling technology or deep one-pass trenching technology). Let us share over 75 years of combined specialty drilling experience and hydrogeologic and geotechnical mapping to assist in accurate delivery of a properly sized well screen, piping and filter pack material. Based on aquifer characteristics and contaminant distribution, a cost effective, properly designed and constructed recovery system can be installed using the data collected during the MER and subsequent investigations.
